Welcome our classroom website!

We're half way through the year! I can't believe how much we've learned and grown. Everyday I can't wait to come to school and see what my students will teach me. (I hope they feel the same.) We still have a lot to do and learn, but doing it together will make it easier. Here's to snowfalls, spring showers and the May flowers ahead!

MEET OUR STUDENT TEACHER!

Miss Teas is a student at Upper Iowa University. She is working towards her Elementary Education with an endorsement in Reading along with an unified endorsement in Early Childhood and Special Education. She is excited to join our class and get an experience teaching older students. Previously this year, Miss Teas student taught in a preschool classroom as well as a kindergarten classroom in the area. Miss Teas looks forward to graduating in March and begin the search for her own classroom. When she isn't in the classroom, being out doors, which includes walking her two dogs, and spending time with friends are some activities that are enjoyable to her.

Meet the Challenge!

Helping hands

Be a set of helping hands in our community! This year each student has been challenged to serve. Students are required to complete 20 hours of service this year. Each quarter 5 hours must be completed. 2 1/2 hours in the community and 2 1/2 hours for your family.

However, I extend this challenge farther:

I dare each one of one you to double that and do it in meaningful ways.

Make your life an example of the love and light of Christ in all you do. You'll be surprised at how great your reward will be.
